I went to a lot of shows during my first years in San Diego and it's kind of interesting how I ended up working for the company that did sound for so many of them.
MYNOTES UVM VERIFICATION
My main task is verification so I work with systemverilog, uvm everyday and these. We have recordings of most of the PA mixes for many of those shows, including ones that were done before I was on board. Im a design verification engineer and this is where I keep my notes. As I said, there was no guitar or violin at all in the PA other than leakage, and even that was almost loud enough for balance, but the sound was distant. That place was a horrible place to do sound, but with their stage volume being so loud, there was not much that could have been done to improve things.
I was there as a paying customer but sound was done by the company I would work with starting 18 months later. It was Nov, 11, 1973 according to our records.
